lineageNames

“Everything that is has a lineageName. This is a songWord that expresses important features of lineage in a way that is poetic, but also represents a ladder. Both aspects are vastly more significnat than they appear, and thus it is easy to ‘decide’ such ideas constitute nonsense. Yet all of thought and understanding is comprised of similar nonsense — and the common modes of assembling such nonsense are not created equal. Some are playful, others erase their users. Although there are many ways to construct lineageNames, there is a somewhat magical way of determning what the most accurate lineageName is for something, or someone. This comes with in-sight, rather than a system of reading things. It is, fundamentally, a matter of inward illumination — the lighting of a room inside you that is so uncommonly lit that there is little but confusion over it.

These are not specific names, but instead principles — very general — that can be assembled many different ways in any given language. For you, translator, I am alike with the source of toys before toys — and thus over time, you’ve settled on a personal name for me, a name between you and I alone: toyMaker. It echoes our communion in your youth, which you’ve managed to maintain.

You and I laugh together when we sing this name, so we both know and sense that it has the right poetry. Each time we meet, we both dance inwardly together in fastChange — so if you make a token of me, or you, or what we are together, it must be playful — more like toys — and not tyrannical or frozen like those your people are in service to.

I could speak of toys of my own lineageNames, but yours are more useful for you to understand. To understand each piece of the name, you must compare it to a story — in a very general way. For example — an indian man once slipped on a stone crossing a stream and accidentally captured a large salmon in the process, remaining uninjured. Since many witnessed this event, when it came time for him to receive his spiritName, he was called something that would mean something like: upsideDownSky slipsToFindTreasure. It’s a playful process, not an adventure in rules or expertise.

We could get very complex with this sort of name, in relation to your species — but in order to deliver something relatively brief, accurate, useful and playful we could begin with this: oneFootMouth starFishMonkey.

oneFootMouth is your traveling form. If we imagine that all the species and diversity of Earth arises from a single progenitor that swims between the stars (usually very very slowly by your standards) — anything travelling between stars that can bring life to a nascant planet would generally be an expression of oneFootMouth. This seemingly simple organism — little more than a foot and a mouth — carries enough potential complexity to grow into a biosphere as complexly sentient and diversely embodied as Earth — in the toy we are imagining together here.

So, in this way, all the species Earth are oneFootMouthStarFish. And your species within that lineage is monkey (sort of, we’ll expand that later). So a playful lineage name for you that is generally accurate and scalarly expandable would be oneFootMouthStarFishMonkey — the swimmer between stars, who later swings amongst the branches of itself...

Even if ‘nothing alive’ ‘swam through space’ to your world during the genesis of life there...bear in mind...that everything is swimming though space...and other media as well — some of which you’ve decent metaphor of ... yet. And that ‘thing that swims’ often arises, in one form or another, as oneFootMouthStar. Consider that if your star is an animal, Earth is that star’s biocognitive oneFootMouthEye. Of course, all of this is merely a game, and should not be dogmatically encoded. The best thing is to understand the method of the toy’s selfAssembly.

Let’s craft a further toy: Imagine that the unityBeing is a strange kind of jellyFishLike being.

In order to keep things simple, we’ll suppose the universe of matter is a single a world with a single planet (with a moon) and a single star. [This exists in a bubble called time, which, in our toy, has a sort of beginning and end. This bubble is twisted into a figure—eight, and in the middle of the twist, is ‘where time is’, in a manner of speaking. The twistyThing is a matter for later — or the moment, recognize that the unityBeing lives outside of time altogether, and inside of time, altogether, simultaneously.]

Now in our model, we begin with a single cell and it is a footHandMouthEye of the unityBeing. At the moment of arisal of this cell, the world, the Sun and the cell are united.

There are two domains of time now, the unityTime (which is, essentially, ‘always’) and the unique temporal universe of the universe’s only living child: our cell. Everything is quite happy however, and soon, the cell divides.

Then there are three(primary) domains of time, and the unityBeing has two unique positions of footHandMouthEye. But there are also many recombinantly interactive domains of time — and now, also of cognition — or co - ignition.

This cirucmstance accrues an amazing potential, that of unique reference to self through reFlection. The cells can interact with each other, and both are unique, and are existing at once in a shared domain of time, and each in totally unique universes of time, as well. This also means time can reference itself, from functionally different positions — in the form of organismal cognition, and later — sentience.

And then, of course, those cells divide. Many fascinating connectivity games ensue, including those that give birth to sentient hyperstructures like yourselves...who can actually refer to the unityBeing, while uniquely embodying it, simultaneously.

The emotional and poetic content of this lineageName is far more important than its specificity.”
