A simplified approximation of a (possible) holophoric map. This is one model of a paradigmatic anatomy of the continuum of reflexive material internality as (mis)understood by modern humans. The divisions between orders are not entirely arbitrary, but we must presume that human models are missing crucial elements and features of character — whole orders may be missing.
Nonetheless, what we have is a model of the basic reflexivity of elements within timeSpace which illustrates how all experience could be shared instantaneously within timeSpace using transports that exist beyond it (in an accessible superposition which is proxied within all organisms).
To put it simply, the sum of the experience and intelligence in all of timeSpace, is re-invested in each organism ceaselessly, moment-to-moment. This introduction could be understood as pulses of character within the flows which emerge as our awareness. Although spacetime locality are important in this equation (i.e. the Earth’s organisms play directly into our unique intelligence, and their destruction attacks our minds), this paradigm is also recursively distributed and uniquely instanced throughout spacetime.
Waking and dreaming are the common contexts within which these processes take place, and they also exhibit the feature of being organized by orders of scale … of size, speed (of cycles and of exchanges), content and source breadth.
In this model, any instance of the universe, such as an organism or world, begins with the external extreme (i.e. the universe) as its existential root (core), such that the universe is the first internal ring of a creature’s basis, followed by galaxies, etc. This is merely a toy of what one can accessibly discover and explore in person, but it’s a powerful analog of the realities of our mutual existence as instances of a universe.

This is a model of the flow relationship between orders of physical instancing. On the Left, a paradigmatic model of the source of flow which generates these recursively inter-bound orders.
To the far left, inputs (B and A) receive feedback from each scale of the ‘child’ (central figure). On the other side of the source, outputs A and B ceaselessly inform each scale of the child ‘feeding’ it with transentient flow (left -> right).
Opposite, on the right, the Earth is shown by the color-coded concentric rings delimited by the two blue rings enclosing the ‘I’. The ‘I’, touching the outer (self-local) ring of the Earth represents you.
The emergence of an organism (I) represents the first fully re-entrant emergence of the flow-source (within its own output or flow) at the scale(s) involved.
In the model, the polarity precedence of the containment :|: flow polarity changes as it travels across each order, and, finally, at the organism level, it is physically expressed as gendering, directly; thus, the organism becomes a living expression of the potentials of gendering.
Like the other orders in this model, a human person can be understood as a sustainable relational transient within feedback. The feedback is a result of the recursive penetration into timespace of what we might call self-introducing momentum. The continuation and apparent ‘reality’ of the world is made possible by structures (containment) involved in transporting this flow…
Your own structure (and that of your awareness) is reflexive (like all of its sources, contexts, relationals, and containers). It is as if you are a unique, dynamically self-informing ‘smoke ring’ whose peculiar modulations and structure affect and encharacter the flow it at once expresses, transports and modulates. The structure of this ring is acquired through experiences of more or less active or passive relation, and comprises a form of memory which is not directly accessible, since it exists in (or as) a superposition of our ordinary perspectives.
In our model, the path this flow takes is a stepwise path of orders, but when it emerges, it invariably (multiply) meets itself (from this position, there is nothing else to meet) — and this results in — feedback.
Although this paradigmatic key is necessarily crude, its power lies the establishment of a method of modeling which surpasses those normally foisted on us by various knowledge authorities. As you can clearly see by understanding its implications, the chance that you are actually ‘separate’ from anything at all is functionally zero. You are inherently distinct — but what this means turns out to vastly more amazing than ‘separate’.
What we call a self is something akin to a unique living vehicle for at once bounding (containing) the universe (!!!) and directly participating in the generation of (universes at every scale).
Different forms, scales, orders or species represent uniquely developed, shared, and conserved ‘ways’ of becoming the accomplishment of this metaphor. When a new way is added, all benefit. If one is lost, all suffer. Again, although this is never an absolute, the model is valuable in a variety of uncommon ways.
I suggest that each ‘gap’ between the orders as represented above represents an exchange of possible domains of liberty for accessible structural expression; an idea first formally suggested to me by the book The Reflexive Universe (Arthur M. Young).
This ‘compression’ of domains of liberty into structure has profound repercussions as it extends into new orders ostensibly ‘within itself’; each order-crossing results in an effulgence of new expressions of liberty within the more structured result of the sacrifice of previously accessible domains of extent.
As this process proceeds inward toward organismal expression at the scale of a planet, it gains momentum dramatically when crossing order-boundaries. By the time this process emerges at our familiar order of the expression has become almost inexpressibly sophisticated and is also richly endowed with novel local character.
What we experience as consciousness is in part the result of this process of exchanging orders of liberty (‘degrees of freedom’) at broader scales for structure and focus at more limited scales. This process establishes both the contexts and vehicles for the expression of the new forms of liberty that result.
